Breastfeeding Consult (In-Home or Virtual)
A 2 hour $250 Breastfeeding Consult, can cover any of the following challenges or concerns you might have:
Home visit to assess breastfeeding or bottle feeding challenges
Nipple Pain or Damage
Attachment and latch concerns
Concerns about reduced milk supply or oversupply
Colic and reflux symptoms
Blocked ducts or Mastitis
Weight gain concerns
Assessment for oral function and tongue ties
Referral to appropriate health services as breastfeeding problems may require a multidisciplinary approach from other health practitioners
Tandem Feeding/Breastfeeding during pregnancy
Breastfeeding premature or low birth weight babies
Consults include a written summary of the visit and recommendations, including any resources relevant to your breastfeeding challenges, 15 minute phone call follow up or email.
Text message support for 1 week following consult as I believe breastfeeding support requires ongoing support and reassurance
I support you in your home, taking the time to have a chat, observe a breastfeed, talk about your breastfeeding goals and make a plan suited to you.
Travel fee incurs if greater than 25km away.
